Welcome!
There is a wonderful party going on out there in the blogger world, hosted by Vicki at 2 Bags Full called Grow Your Blog. It's a great way to meet new people, find new blogs and explore all at o nce! You can click on the link in my side bar to take you to all the great blogs and people participating.
Thank you Vicki for hosting!
So please have a seat, and join me for a tea, coffee or your drink of preference and let me tell you a little about my blog...
I'm a stitcher through and through and the main purpose of starting my blog way back when in 2005 was to find away to share my love of stitching with others. I blog mainly about my cross stitching, with the occassional family stuff thrown in for good measure! When I first started blogging I didn't think I would still be at it this many years later. I love blogging, though sometimes it is a hit and miss type of thing for me, while at other times I post regularly. I love to find new blogs about things that interest me, especially about the needlearts.
I love to read, love to stitch and of course love to shop... but not for what you think... I don't particularly like clothes or shoe shopping, its stitchy stash - cross stitch supplies that I am hopelessly addicted to buying! I am a true stashaholic at hear. I know I have more than I will ever be able to stitch in this lifetime, but all those pretty patterns, fabrics and threads still call my name!
I am doing a challenge this year, where my friends challeneged me to not shop for any stitching supplies for an entire year. So far so good! Mainly becuase the stuff I ordered late December is starting to come in! I think I will be able to do it, though I know some months later on in the year will be harder than others, particularly when all the lovely new stuff comes out from the various markets.
I did just do a giveaway for some patterns and magazines, but I know not everyone from the Grow Your Blog is a stitcher, so I will have another giveaway, this time for a stitched ornament by me. I'm not sure what kind it will be but I know it will be finished as a pin keep like the ones pictured below.
If you would like to be entered, please just leave a comment on this post, and I will pick a winner on Feb. 1st.
Again welcome, and until next time happy stitching!
