But here we go with an update on stitching:
And I have a small happy dance to share as well... since I didn't have very much stitching time as mentioned, I started a small project that wouldn't take up much space or take much time... I started and finished Blackbird Designs Sweetheart Sampler. Stitched over 2 on 28ct fabric (jobelan I believe) with a limited edition GAST that I had here at home - no name, just purple.
I have one more happy dance to share, DH got me an early birthday present... I've been wanting and looking for a new phone for a while, but none out there with my carrier actually caught my eye (plus I'm a Nokia girl, so it has to be a Nokia) . I finally found one, only to be told by the store people that its been discontinued... well to my surprise it was still available online and DH got one for me! Here she is in all her glory!
There are a lot of bells and whistles on this thing so it is definitely going to take me a while to figure it out! But I love it!!! Its a bit wider and heavier than my old nokia but at least this way I won't lose it!
I had a question in my comments from the Silver Thistle, about the deer in the pictures in my last post... yes those are deer, the two pictures actually show two different deer that were just wandering along on our street Sunday afternoon. We live fairly close to an Indian reserve, and the resevoir so we get all kinds of wildlife here by our house regularly. Deer, and rabbits are the most common, but we have had coyotes as well. The most deer we had was in winter about two years ago, we had a herd of 9 (that we could see) sitting in the small wooded area behind our house.
