I recieved the final installment for the iStitch SAL in the mail yesterday, and before heading out to a party, I had a little time to stitch...
I pulled out my SAL to get that final piece done, and here it is in all its glory!
I stitched it on a 28ct white evenweave... not sure if it was joblean or not - no label... over 1 using Nina's Threads in Rose Tea...
I hope Carol doesn't mind, but I changed the little square beneath the scissors... originally it was the year with the little motif on the right... I'm not too keen on adding dates like that to my patterns, so I omitted the year and added a stem to make it look more like a flower. I think my change turned out okay...
Carol finished hers into a beautiful box top. I'm not sure yet what I will do with mine... I'll save that as a surprise for a future post..
I just loved stitching this, and it was a great SAL, one I could definitely keep up with! If you missed out on this when the SAL started, by all means go and check out Carol's website and purchase it, as she has now made it available for everyone! Click here for Carol's website.
She has a whole lot of other wonderful charts for purchase as well and all are well worth getting! Trust me, I know, I have several of them in my stash just waiting to be stitched up!
Today is our SAL with Barbi, so that means Mary Margaret will be coming out later to play! Till tomorrow, I hope everyone has a relaxing and enjoyable Sunday!

Beautiful!!! Congrats, Katica. :)
Congrats on the beautiful finish. It sure is a pretty piece. I like how you change the year into the flower stalk.
Hugs,
Veronica.
