The other day a blogger friend of mine - Jo (click for her blog) sent me an email, which when I read, gave me a huge surprise...
I was chosen as blogger of the month in the World of Cross Stitching magazine's most recent issue that just came out in the UK (issue #205).
Jo was kind enough to scan just that one page for me, as it will be a little bit before that issue comes out here in Canada. I've put it up here as well, so I can share my excitement with you all!
First the full page, and then a close up of my part so you can read it...
Some of the information isn't quite correct, but there was no way of knowing that it is incorrect , and I can see how they came to that conclusion based on the information (or lack of) in my blog. My family originates from Hungary, I originate from Canada, so to speak, but I did spend a few years in my late 20's to early 30's actually living in Hungary. But hey that's okay! I am featured in a magazine!! How cool is that!!!!
Just to quickly come down from cloud nine, no stitching updates to show off, as I did absolutely no stitching this past weekend, and it looks like the up coming weekend will be the same. I am still plugging away on the Last Supper and I promise to have a nice progress picture soon... it's just all nice and snug in my qnaps that I didn't feel like undoing it all just for a picture.
Let's just say the end is in sight with this one, so I want to continue and hopefully get it done soon! Omg, I can't believe that I just said that... never in a million years did I ever think I would get to the end of this WIP.. it is truly my longest wip I've had...
Don't forget you still have some time - until midnight my time tomorrow - to enter the giveaway in my previous post!!!
Anyways, till next time happy stitching, and thanks for visiting!!!!
