Stitching update, the package that never was and a little silly stuff...

Since I wanted to update you with a progress picture on Sunday but Blogger wouldn't let me, here is that picture as well as of how I stand from last night...

There is still quite a bit to do, but I'm making good progress... as soon as I'm done this post I'm off to stitch some more...

I have a friend who lives in Hungary, and I wanted to surprise her for her birthday way back in April (April 1st to be exact) so I stitched her a little something, and by the time I was done and had it finished the way I wanted and all packaged up, I was a bit late in mailing! It was ready to mail and actually was sent off on May second... (okay so I was more than a bit late) I'm sad to report that the package has never arrived. I did mail it airmail, so I managed to pay an arm and a leg to Canada Post, and I have no compensation for it never arriving. It was a small package, so no tracking and no I didn't get insurance. I've never had a package go astray before so I never even thought of getting any...

At first I thought that the package maybe got sent surface accidentally, and have been waitng somewhat on pins and needles in hope it would arrive but so far no luck... I've finally given into the fact that it is lost, all my hard work and extra goodies are gone. Anyways, without further ado, here is what was in the package...

She loves Bent Creek, so I made her a scissor fob and an ormament using the Littles Bunny pattern. I put her initial on the back of the fob. The package also contained patterns and left over thread from a Bent Creek kit called Boo and a Trilogy kit called Boo - Tall Trios, plus at least 4 Cross Country Stitching (Jerimah Junction) magazines, and a set of 8 inch q-snaps... I hope that where ever the package is, that the person is enjoying everything in it...

Anyways, enough of that, I thought I would also add in some silly stuff - I saw this on Christine's blog and thought I would give it a try. I will admit, I thought my % would be higher on the cat side...

You Are: 40% Dog, 60% Cat
You and cats have a lot in common. You're both smart and in charge - with a good amount of attitude. However, you do have a very playful side that occasionally comes out!
