Continuing with the photo update...

On Saturday, my DH and I and a friend of ours went to our LNS for a framing class, and we had a great time! We learned how to stretch and pin our pieces for framing... I never thought I would be able to do this, and always thought of it as so difficult... don't get me wrong, I'm not saying its easy. But all you need is a lot of patience and a good eye and off you can go... Anyways, this is the piece I did at the class - now I will just have to finish off the corners in the back and eventually pick a frame for it.

Yesterday I was feeling a little lazy about changing my piece in the q-snaps, so I just continued working on the peonies yesterday as welll. Today however, I have already switched over and will be working on the wedding for the rest of this week till Sunday... I originally thought I would change on Sunday's, but decided to just switch projects on Monday's instead... we'll see how long I'll be able to keep to stitching only on the wedding piece, how many hours/days I will be able to handle of just stitching white before I want to stitch something else! But I promise to show you my progress pictures next week. Speaking of which here are my two before and after progress pictures of the peonies - the before one is the one from Wednesday night's craft night (which I've already posted) and then the after picture is of last night's progress...

As I've mentioned before I just love working on this and it will be hard to put it down, but if I don't I'll never get to working on the wedding piece!

We "de-christmasfied" the house yesterday, took the decorations and the tree down, I was sad to see it go, but at the same time it was nice to put it away. However silly me forgot to take pictures of the wonderful ornament we got for Christmas from our dear friends - Blissful Loser. It was so sweet of them to bring it over, and we just love it. It is one of those personalized ornaments that you can get, of a cute little snowman couple . I love it! It will definitely be hung each year with lots of love with the other ornaments that we have recieved from them in the past.

Another thank you to Eva who clarifed that I was right in my guess as to what my crocheted eye glass case is... however since I wear my glasses all the time, I will more than likely be using it for something stitching related! I've already asked DH if he would make a lining for it, and then I can keep my highligher and new needle case and threader in there and have them with me all the time! (not that I take my stitching to too many places other than my couch)

Oh what a pretty piece. I've not seen it before. I'm not a pink person but, I could see myself stitching this. I can't wait to see an udate scan on the wedding piece then more of this one when you get back to it.

All your projects are really cute, but this one is just adorable! You did a super job on the framing too!

The peonies are just gorgeous ! One of my favourite flowers - but I've never seen this pattern before. Can't wait to see an update on the Wedding too :)
