stitching update

I finally have some stitching updates to show. Yesterday was the LHN Neighbourhood SAL with Barbi, and after two weeks of not being able to work on it, it was so nice to be able to sit down and get some stitches in! Here is my progress from yesterday, not a lot but at least it is progress!

Then the next two pictures are of my LHN Coffee and Tea series. As I mentioned I finished off Herbal Tea and have started on Frapaccino next. I'm going to do it so that it goes tea, coffee tea and the second row will be coffee, tea, coffee.

I changed out the silk for the tea cup in the Herbal Tea one, as it was way too close to the fabric colour. I switched it to just regular DMC 3865, and in these pictures it sort of fades into the background as well, but no so in real life. It is stitched on 32ct Day's Gone By Jubilee (I think - I'll have to check the fabric label on the bag). Very soft and very nice fabric to work on, one of my all time favourite colours from silkweaver.
