goodies in the mail...

Its only Wednesday and so far its been a great week for mail!

Let's start with the non stitchy mail, as that was a wonderful gift as well as surprise, and not something I just bought myself...

A wonderful dear friend of mine - Evi - started making hand stamped jewlery. So to show my support, I decided to ask her to make some for me, and requested three personalized charms and necklaces... When they turned up in my mail box, I was just floored by how beautiful they were!!! I also just found out that those little glass beads on each necklace are not just any old beads, but are Swarovski crystal beads!!! I think I was spoiled!!!

Here they are:

1. Believe

2. Love - its like one of those Tiffany necklaces that you thread one end through the other to close it, and then the word "love" hangs down vertically and is finished off with a lovely crystal heart charm. An added lovely detail, is the rose charm used to close the neckalce...

3. Love with our initials (in Hungarian)

In addition to this wonderful package, she added a cute pen as well... I just love the little crocheted/knitted kitty and snails pictured on the pen! Too cute for words... it also writes nice too! Please excuse the quality of the picture, it was difficult to even get this one to work and actually be in focus!

I just love all three neckalces and have already worn two out of three to work! Tomorrow will most likely be the 3rd!

Last month I spurged and did a bunch of stash shopping, and the orders are just coming in now...

I actually spulred in July too but didn't take pictures and that stash is all put away already so sorry about that!

I purchased a chart off a fellow stitcher - ABC Cat by Homespun Elegance. I love literally anything with alphabets, black kitties, and pumpkins and if they are together in one pattern then even better for me! So I really hit the jackpot with the one as it has all three! (well at least part of the alphabet)

Next up... includes my LHN Sampler Months automatic, BBD's Rose Garden, Lady Dot Creations Stitching Portfolio, a cream and black floral tape measure, and a new pair of scissors...

Here is a close up of the lining insed the portfolio... I just love the fabrics used!!!

I also recieved... the 2010 JCS Ornament issue, JCS Halloween issue, La D Da's Pumpkins Three, LHN's Family Sampler, BBD's Swan Lake, and With Thy Needle & Thread's Love and Be Loved...

Till next time... happy stitching
