I have a happy dance to share! I managed to put the final stitch into Madonna Dolorosa last night around 10:00pm...
Here she is...
Now don't laugh, I didn't notice anything funky about her until this afternoon when I took her picture to post... I don't like that funky looking outline around and throughout her face either... however after taking the picture and studying the chart, I did use the correct colour it called for - DMC 948...
However after taking a closer look at the computer generated model picture on the front, as well as searching the internet, I did see that something was amiss... so I frogged those stitches and tried to find what I though would be the next best thing... however I didn't have the thread on hand - trust me I searched high and low for a skein of DMC 3771 but there was none to be found. I had to resort to plan C... I restitched it using DMC 758... It turned out much better than it was before, but I'm still not 100% satisfied... but I just don't feel like frogging it again... so I'll if it grows on me, if not then I'll frog...
But here the Madonna in all her glory for happy dance number 2!!!

Congrats on your gorgeous finish! She is stunning!
OMG Kati that is so BEAUTIFUL!!!!! Laci should be thrilled with this one and might forget about the Last Supper!!
Congrats she looks incredible!
The switch to 758 looks much better.
Thanks ladies! I think she turned out lovely as well... I am getting used to the 758 and am starting to like it more and more.
Edith, Laci loves it and wants to frame it right away, but I don't think he'll forget about the last supper... I may have to dig that one out and stitch it up in secret and just surprise him with it one day! :O)
