blog hopping

Wow, where did this month go already?? tomorrow is the 15th and that means another blog hopping question!  I still haven't answered the one from the beginning of the month, so let's do that now before I'm really behind!

Do you set stitching goals for yourself and how do you plan them out? (Weekly, monthly, annually?) What are your current stitching goals (if you don’t mind sharing)?
In addition to setting goals for yourself, do you have a special reward that you reserve for when you reach a stitching goal?

I have tried in the past to set goals for myself (many times) and doing various versions too, and none seem to work for me. I don't keep to them... I will do anything but what I need to meet my goals... I guess I'm just weird that way...

I do much better stitching as a free spirit so to speak, just stitch whatever calls my name when ever it calls.  I will occassionally do something for a deadline, but then the stitching becomes something I have to do and not something I enjoy...

When I did set goals for myself, then yes I would try and set rewards too, things like buying new stash or starting a new project, but like I said it didn't work out to well, I would end up shopping anyways or starting something new just becuase...

But that's okay. I do admire those who can set goals and stick to them, and I have my way of stitching that works for me!

I am just like you. I can set goals for myself but there's no point really as I also do something else and not sticking with the goals. I also quit enjoy stitching if I really have to stitch something. It's no fun when you have to! lol

I am glad to see I am not the only one thinking this way :)

btw I love your Lizzie Kate santas :)
