Where to start.... the weekend was good, nothing thrilling to blog about, but it was a nice quiet one spent with friends and family. We did some things and went out but it was mainly for enjoying the sunshine and relaxing.
I of course managed to get some stitching done (what else is new right?) and I have a happy dance to report! Autumn in My Garden by Mirabilia is done! I did leave off the beads but I didn't feel they really added anything extra to this one, I may change my mind later but for now she is finished and I'm happy with her. So a great big thank you to my friend Evi, who gifted me with the pattern, she is one of my favourite Mirabilia's!
Here she is! Please excuse the wrinkles!
And since yesterday was Sunday and we're supposed to be doing a LHN SAL, I started the new one that we picked. LHN Neighbourhood. I didn't get much progress done, but I did start. I started it on 32ct mushroom lugana and so far with the reccommended DMC threads. I may change some as I go, I may not... We'll see when the time comes.
And the second new start, well I haven't decided, but I really don't feel like working on the alphabet blocks right now, though I really should be getting back to them... its a toss up between Berry Time by Blackbird Designs or a Mickey Mouse sketch pattern that I stitched a few years back as a gift for my SIL. I've always wanted to stitch it again for myself, so maybe now is the time!
